Partner

What is a Partner?

A Partner is another registered user of Peaky Twins who is paired with you for mutual accountability. Once paired, you and your partner can create shared, time-boxed Challenges together and each partner's task completion progress is visible to the other.

Each user can have at most one active Partner at a time. You cannot be paired with multiple partners simultaneously.

What Pairing Enables

Once two users are paired as Partners, both can:

  • Create time-boxed Challenges together — either partner can create a Challenge that both participate in.
  • See each other's Challenge task completion progress — you can see how many Challenge Tasks your partner has completed, and they can see yours.
  • Send and receive messages — paired partners have access to a shared Conversation Thread for free-form messages and nudge references.

Note that Goals remain private — your partner cannot see your personal Goals or Goal Tasks, only Challenge progress is shared.

How to Find and Connect with a Partner

Finding a partner is straightforward:

  1. Navigate to the partner browse page from the main app navigation.
  2. Browse the list of available users who are looking for an accountability partner. Each profile shows the user's name, commitment level, goal type, and intro video (if uploaded).
  3. Send a partner request to a user whose profile resonates with you.
  4. The other user receives your request and can accept it to complete the pairing, or decline it.
  5. Once the request is accepted, both users are paired and the full partner feature set becomes available immediately.

One Active Partner at a Time

Peaky Twins is designed around a focused, one-to-one accountability relationship. You can have one active Partner at a time. If you are already paired, you will not be able to send or accept new partner requests until the existing partnership ends.

If you do not yet have a partner, you can find one at any time from the partner browse page — you do not need to complete onboarding first.
